Terms and posting rules

Accounts and listings
You must be at least 18 to post or message. Use accurate information and only post items or services you have authority to offer. Use photos you own or have permission to use. Choose the correct category and disclose dealer or business status. Do not impersonate someone, post another person’s private information, spam, or create duplicate listings to bypass limits.
Review and enforcement
New listings, reposts, restored listings, and edited published listings must pass review before public display. Approval is not verification of legality or an endorsement. We may reject listings, remove content, or suspend accounts for violations. Do not evade restrictions by creating another account. To ask for review of a moderation decision, email support with the listing link. When enabled, automated text and photo screening assists review. Some eligible listings, including those from first-time sellers, may publish automatically. Screening can make mistakes; approval does not certify safety.
Your content
You retain ownership of your photos, text, and other content. By submitting content, you grant GusList a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, resize, process, and display it as needed to operate listings, messages, moderation, and support. This license does not authorize selling your content or using it in unrelated advertising. Public display ends when a listing is removed or expires; stored copies may remain as described in the Privacy notice. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
Local posting and repeat listings
Keep one active listing per item or offering, in one appropriate category and its actual local city. Do not duplicate an offering across cities, states, categories, or accounts. Wait at least 48 hours before posting the same offering again; removing it does not bypass that wait. Automated checks reject matching titles or descriptions; reports allow review of disguised duplicates. Most personal-item posts remain free. Fee categories share one free post per account per rolling 7 days. Extra posts cost $3, except jobs at $5. Each account may publish up to 3 listings per rolling 24 hours and have up to 10 active listings. Draft publication and reposting count toward the applicable allowances; removing or selling a listing does not reset the allowances; sold, removed, and expired listings do not occupy active slots. This limit does not trigger a charge.
Prohibited content
No scams, stolen goods, illegal items or services, weapons, controlled substances, adult services, pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual nudity, child sexual abuse material, harassment, threats, discriminatory ads, or deceptive claims, keyword spam, hidden fees, misleading placeholder prices, pyramid schemes, affiliate spam, or links promoting outside auctions. Services belong in Services; business opportunities do not belong in Jobs. Comply with applicable requirements for housing, employment, licensed services, and the items you offer. We may remove listings and restrict abusive activity. Use Report listing to flag a problem.
Fees and listing duration
Most personal items remain free. Fee categories share one free post per rolling seven days; additional posts require a one-time payment after approval. If fees are activated later, the applicable fee will be displayed before you submit a new listing. Existing free listings will not be charged retroactively. Listings generally last 30 days after publication; events end on their specified date. Removed listings have a 5-day recovery period. Sold listings and expired listings have a further 30-day recovery period. Afterward, daily cleanup during site activity permanently removes eligible photos and listing content; cleaned-up listings cannot be restored. Cleanup may be delayed by inactivity, processing limits, or retries. Reported listings are retained for review. Renewing a free listing moves it to the top every 72 hours and does not extend expiration. Reposts count toward the applicable free allowance and posting fees. Removing an ad or marking it sold does not automatically refund a posting fee.
One-time posting fees
No monthly subscription is offered. Fee categories share one free post per rolling seven days. Additional posts cost $3 for services, dealer listings, owner-listed cars, trucks, motorcycles and RVs, gigs, and commercial property, or $5 for jobs, when paid posting is enabled. Ordinary personal items, community listings, resumes and most housing remain free. Existing free listings will not be charged retroactively. Listings will be reviewed before payment is requested; rejected submissions will not require payment. Approved paid listings publish only after confirmed payment. Paying does not increase account limits or bypass posting rules. If a confirmed payment cannot result in publication of the approved listing, the posting fee is refunded to the original payment method. After publication, removal, sale, lack of buyer response, or enforcement of posting rules does not automatically qualify for a refund. Contact support about duplicate charges or technical problems.
Transactions and disputes
GusList does not sell the listed items, collect their purchase price, arrange delivery, or provide transaction guarantees or escrow. Verify the seller, condition, price, and pickup arrangements before paying. Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving their transaction disputes. A posting fee pays for an ad, not the listed item.
Listing accuracy and verification
Listings and messages are supplied by users. GusList does not independently verify every user’s identity, ownership of an item, professional license, listing description, price, or ability to complete a transaction. An account, published listing, or moderation decision is not an endorsement or a guarantee. Check the information yourself before sharing sensitive details, agreeing to a deal, or paying.
Service disclaimer
To the extent allowed by applicable law, GusList is offered “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that listings are accurate or complete, that an item will sell, that a buyer or seller will respond, or that the service will always operate without interruptions, errors, or security incidents. To the extent legally permitted, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We may maintain, change, or discontinue features. Keep your own copies of information you need.
Responsibility and limits of liability
Users are responsible for their listings, communications, and transaction arrangements. GusList is not a party to agreements between buyers and sellers and does not insure transactions or promise compensation for scams, defective items, nonpayment, or delivery problems. To the extent permitted by applicable law, GusList and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost revenue, business opportunities, or data.
These provisions do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other obligations that applicable law makes nonwaivable. They do not take away statutory consumer rights. Where a restriction is not legally permitted, that restriction applies only to the extent allowed, and the remaining terms continue to apply.
